Background

Dyfed Telecom‘s consistent growth over the last eight years is welcome proof that old fashioned values still have an important place in the modern world. Something that Elite Signs really appreciates. 

Established with customer service at its core, Dyfed Telecom has grown from strength to strength across the rural heartland of Wales, connecting agricultural homes and businesses to opportunities via high-speed internet and mobile platforms.

The Brief

As their operation expanded, so too has Dyfed Telecom’s requirements. A sales territory covering all of Wales not only has considerably more customer touchpoints, but naturally requires a much larger fleet and office infrastructure to deliver value to the customers. 

With brand recognition vitally important to the continued success and growth of the company, Dyfed Telecom were looking for a partner to help brand their growth. Fortunately, Elite Signs were recommended by a client to Dyfed Telecom’s Director. 

With a fleet of over 15 vehicles, multiple sites and a suite of branding collateral to brand, our team started the project where it always needs to begin, with a solid design idea to pull everything together!

The Idea

Dyfed Telecom had an established logo and colourway so we wanted to maximise these as a tool for grabbing attention and building brand recognition, both for customers and internally with staff. 

The bold brand mark was the cornerstone of the fleet design. We wanted to make it as prominent a feature as possible, whilst letting the strong contrast of the teal colourway really ‘pop’ against the black background (in some cases, the vehicles were white but the contrast worked equally as well.)

We also wanted to help the team at Dyfed Telecom bring the colour into their offices, so we suggested a range of eye-catching and practical ideas to bring the brand to life for staff and visitors. 

The Directors at Dyfed Telecom were really happy with the designs and the intended application, so we were able to move to the next stage of the project. 

The Delivery

The project started with the fleet livery, which involved a full-colour change from the vehicles actual colour. We were really pleased with how the team delivered on this aspect of the project, which included nice bespoke touches such as wrapping the ford badge on the Ranger in teal to keep the colour scheme consistent even to the smallest detail.

Bringing the Dyfed Telecom brand to life within the Office environment included wrapping the doors and brick walls in the corporate teal colour, with vision film utilised on the office windows to offer the stylish contrasting white, at the same time offering privacy for those within the office.

Banner stands, welcome mats and stickers all added additional branding elements to the office space to complete the look. Externally, we also created several office signs on the building to help with brand recognition and make the location stand out.

The Final Result

Perhaps the most pleasing feedback we had was that on the day we wrapped the first van, it was spotted on its way back to the Dyfed Telecom office, which led to a new piece of business for the client that was of greater value than the wrap itself. 

During our relationship with Dyfed Telecom we have wrapped the full fleet, branded the main office in Welshpool, delivered a raft of brand collateral and really look forward to helping this great team make their next stage of success grab the attention of their customers.
